What is the RRB ALP Photo & Signature Resizer?
The Railway Recruitment Board Assistant Loco Pilot (RRB ALP CEN 01/2024 onwards) is one of Indian Railways' flagship recruitment drives. When applying on the official railway recruitment portal (rrbapply.gov.in), candidates must follow updated, strict digital image requirements.
Unlike older exams, Indian Railways now enforces a strict **30 KB to 70 KB** file size bracket for both photographs and signatures to ensure high-definition rendering on CBT biometric screening systems.
Our RRB ALP Photo & Signature Resizer automatically configures your images to pass automated verification:
- Passport Photograph: Scaled to 35 mm × 45 mm (approx 320 × 240 px) within 30 KB to 70 KB against a clean plain white background with 80% face area.
- Candidate Signature: Scaled to 35 mm × 15 mm (approx 140 × 60 px) within 30 KB to 70 KB in black or dark blue ink (running handwriting).
- Magic Paper Cleaner: Eliminates camera phone shadows from mobile photos of paper signatures.
